- The centre at which the semen to be exported was collected was free from rabies, tuberculosis, brucellosis, anthrax and contagious bovine pleuropneumonia during the 30 days prior to the date of collection of the semen to be exported and the 30 days after collection (in the case of fresh semen, until the date of dispatch);
- either [(a) has been free for 24 months from foot-and-mouth disease, for 12 months from rinderpest, bluetongue, Rift valley fever, peste des petits ruminants, sheep pox and goat pox, contagious caprine pleuropneumonia and epizootic haemorrhagic disease and for six months from vesicular stomatitis, and]
- were located during the 30 days immediately prior to collection of the embryos to be exported in premises situated in the centre of an area of 20 km in diameter in which according to official findings there was no incidence of foot-and-mouth disease, blue tongue, epizootic haemorrhagic disease, contagious vesicular stomatitis, Rift Valley fever or contagious bovine pleuropneumonia during this period;
- has been free from rinderpest, peste des petits ruminants, sheep and goat pox, contagious caprine pleuropneumonia, and Rift Valley Fever during the 12 months immediately prior to collection of the ova/embryos (1) to be exported and up until its date of dispatch and no vaccination against these diseases took place during that period;
- were located during the 30 days immediately prior to collection of the embryos to be exported in premises situated in the centre of an area of 20 km in diameter in which according to official findings there was during this period no incidence of foot-and-mouth disease, bluetongue, epizootic haemorrhagic disease, vesicular stomatitis, Rift Valley fever or contagious bovine pleuropneumonia;

- within a 10 km radius of the premises on which the embryos to be exported were collected and processed, according to official findings there was no incidence of foot-and-mouth disease, epizootic haemorrhagic disease, vesicular stomatitis, Rift Valley fever or contagious bovine pleuropneumonia in the 30 days immediately prior to their collection and, in the case of embryos certified under 1.2.2.2, in the 30 days after their collection as well;
- the premises on which the embryos to be exported or the ovaries, oocytes and other tissues used in the production of embryos to be exported were collected and processed were at the time of collection situated in the centre of an area of 20 km diameter in which according to official findings there had been no incidence of foot-and-mouth disease, bluetongue, epizootic haemorrhagic disease, vesicular stomatitis, Rift Valley fever or contagious bovine pleuropneumonia for 30 days immediately prior to collection and in the case of embryos certified under 11.2.2.2 and 11.2.3.2 for 30 days after collection;
